Great news!

As an owner of a small fleet of trucks in Ohio, this is wonderful news. In some cases, it's actually better for my trucks to go 65 vs. 55 since the automatics don't switch to high gear until they go 64 mph. And, the time that would have been lost by bypassing the expensive turnpike will be made up.
I realize that the gentleman that posted about hating it when trucks pass is something that he will have to get used to. Because it has been this way for so long, we forgot what it was like for the trucks to go the speed of the cars. He must not travel outside of Ohio much.
I also really hate it when some mid-aged man in crisis in his 4 door sedan buzzes past me when I'm doing 68 in a 65. Or when a crotch-rocket comes out of nowhere to weave in-and-out of cars doing wheelies down the highway.
Switching lanes increases your chance of an accident and not having to pass a truck that's going 55 will lower your risk.
And of course, you always have your texters and those who can't drive and talk on their phones all while maintaining the same speed. And those who are in a hurry and those who are out for a Sunday drive.
Keep in mind that if a driver accidently or on purpose makes a mistake on the highway, it could end his/her career for life. Most drivers are very safe because their livelihood relies on it.
Most middle-aged men in sedans are safe drivers and most motorcyclists are safe as well. You do have a few bad apples on the road but those bad apples always get your attention.
Be safe and watch everything that goes on around you on the highway.
