Right On!!!!!!!!!

You could not be more right driver. I'm starting to work on something and contact some places to see if we can get a message out to these idiot 4 wheel drivers out there. The two biggest problems that they have is not realizing our limitations in a sometimes 80,000 pound vehicle and NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!!. Other than tailgating, hovering next to my tandems or door, in a traffic jam cut right in front of me the minute a gap opens up or when on a multiple lane road not get over for me if I'm trying to merge or switch lanes when the lane next to them is wide open (hence not paying attention, could be the cell phone) my biggest concern is how when they pass you, they hop right over in front of us especially at night. Here is the really bad thing about that which they don't take into consideration. What would their natural reaction be if a deer, a bear or any animal for that matter came out in front of them? Let's see if I can guess this one um, maybe oh, lets say HIT THE BRAKES! So, now they just cut in front of us, we back off of the throttle, cover the brakes and all in that same instant the animal hops out, they hit the brakes and I'm supposed to stop 80,000 pounds just like that. I say 80,000 pounds because many of the loads my company hauls are close to gross. The last thing here is the tailgating which is way more serious than they really realize. Now when a situation occurs, it takes like a 1/4 second to recognize it, another 1/4 second for the human brain to recognize it and another 1/4 second for reaction time. So as they are tailgating lets say just at the same time we have to put on the brakes hard for whatever reason say, due to another idiot 4 wheeler. Now they answer their phone, spill something, drop something and go to pick it up, or even sneeze. Yes, sneeze. We all know if you get one of them big sneezes you loose focus for a bit. Now lets calculate how many feet a car is going at say 65mph. As we know, many are less than 20 feet from that ICC bumper right? Well, do the math. Yes, one could say these are all freak scenarios but, then again, most accidents are right? I would like to get some drivers together and discuss my ideas. Some that I have spoke with like it then, there are those that say it will do no good. Well, it won't do any good, their right, if you make no attempt to make the American driver more aware of some things. Also, they need to be held accountable more than they are when like 73% of accidents with big trucks is the autos fault. If we have an accident, we have to take a drug test, why don't they? Feel free to contact me if at least to hear me out and give me some ideas to go with the ones iI currently have.
