I kept waiting to see Chris Brown and wondered what happened. I should have known Al Sharpton and the Camel had something to do with it.

First of all, The camel was a drug dealer, has hit women and done his own sh@t. Half of the performers in the audience have been in trouble, Don Cornelious who took a day to pay tribute to the O'Jays has had domestic disputes with his wife (which I don't understand, cuz if it took a day to say one line, he must have been whipping her ass for a month with his slow talking ass) lil wayne keep singing a song that had to be bleeped all nite long for all the profanities. Jamie Foxx was funny and corny at the same time. I would have rather seen Chris Brown do Thriller, not Jamie. BET you have lost me, forever.

The awards sucked. I don't know how BET can even call that a tribute. The thing is where one show won't let Chris perform another will. MTV, GRAMMY, BILLBOARD,AMA,and WMA will all do tributes (they did so many while he was alive imagine how many he will receive after his death). I personally did not want to see Chris out there. I know (and most of the rest of the breathing coherent world) that Chris can do an amazing MJ tribute just like Justin and Usher. So relax everyone he will get his opportunity but the reality is the show sucked and it would have been unfair to Michael to receive all those mediocre tributes and a killer one from Chris, why, because everyone would be talking about how great Chris is and the comparisons etc...I think it would have been less about MJ and more about Chris. At the same time considering his recent legal woes it would be looked at (in my eyes atleast) as an opportunity performance rather than a sincere tribute. Trust he will do one and it will be amazing and everyone will say not did you see Chris's MJ tribute rather his performance. Chris is a showman (and a darn exceptional one at that) he will get it done eventually. I commend BET for attempting the show and without depending on CB to make it for them, he need to just chill right now. And if Jay had anything to do with it, it was mostly because he didn't want CB to show him or his wife up which he would have done easily and partly because he wants to feel like he can control what happens in every aspect of Hip Hop/R&B (which he essentially can to an extent).

Chris brown would have been the best performer there. The tribute to mj was so bad and I was so disappointed.
