Michael Jackson Evening Gossip Round-Up: Memorial Tickets, Custody Issues, & More
Because there is so much Michael Jackson gossip coming out seemingly every hour, we give you both the morning and evening round-up. Today we learn that it won't be free to attend Michael Jackson's funeral (hey he has to pay off those debts somehow!), and that his ex-wife Debbie Rowe is seeking custody of two of his three children and will be filing a restraining order against Joe Jackson. Lastly, Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson is trying to get him buried at his beloved Neverland Ranch.
Tickets to MJ Memorial/Circus Priced at $25
If you're interested in attending Michael Jackson's memorial service at the Staples Center, you'll have to shell out $25 per ticket just to sit in the stands. Family, friends and VIPS, of course, will have seats on the main floor and won't have to pay to get in.
The memorial service is to take place on Tuesday, July 7 from 10am to 12pm PT. Amongst the stars expected to attend are Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross. T-shirts that were made to be sold at MJ's upcoming concerts will also be up for sale outside the Staples Center. There will also be plenty of music and video screens, giving the whole thing a concert-like feel.
If you thought it all sounds like a circus.. well... appropriately so, the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus will literally be on standby. The parade of elephants, which is held as circus performers arrive in town, is scheduled to take place immediately following the service. Given his love of exotic animals and childlike things, MJ would definitely approve of this bizarre coincidence.
Debbie Rowe Wants Custody & to Keep Joe Jackson Away
Debbie Rowe, the former wife of MJ, has decided to seek custody of Jackson's two oldest children, whom she gave birth to. Rumors swirling lately claim that she was merely a surrogate and is not the actual mother, so to disprove those claims Rowe said she is willing to submit to any testing, including DNA, to prove that she is the true biological mother of his two oldest children. She also said that she would submit to psychological testing.
She also wants to keep them away from Michael's father - Joe Jackson - and is planning to file a restraining order against him.
Michael leaves behind son Michael Joseph Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; daughter Paris Michael Katherine, 11; and son Prince Michael II, 7.
Debbie says that she is concerned about splitting up the children, and would take the third child if the court decided they should be together.
Jermaine Jackson Wants Michael Buried at Neverland
Earlier this week, reports surfaced suggesting that Jackson would be buried at Neverland. However, burials on private property are forbidden by California law, and according to People.com, the family was unable to secure an exemption.
Jermaine Jackson, however, is still pushing to have his brother laid to rest at Neverland because it is so "peaceful", and his presence can still be felt there.
Money talks, so perhaps if the Jackson family waves enough dough in front of the right people, they could get that exemption....

Remember Michael Through Charity
For some reason $25 seems a little high to me. I understand there are expenses involved but if their estimates of 750,000 in attendance are accurate that's over $18 million! LAPD doesn't cost that much.
I hope that those who cannot attend the memorial, or who are looking to honor Michael in their own way, hear the calls of several groups encouraging donations to Michael Jackson's favorite charities in honor of his death. One group, The Man in the Mirror Project (www.maninthemirrorproject) is encouraging all fans to make donations to remember Michael but also calling on his London tour ticketholders to donate their refunds to these charities. Imagine the impact that would make! Approximately $85 million in tickets were sold!

The tickets will be free is what all the major news stations are reporting. Also the staples center only holds 20,000 people, 11,000 of which they will give tickets for. So... 275,000 dollars even if they were sold for 25 a piece. Im not sure where you were getting 18 million. What venue in the world holds 750,000 people?
Burial place of Michael Jackson
It is hard to believe that Jermaine Jackson wants to bury Michael's remains at 'Neverland Ranch'. Michael moved out of there after the trial. He said 'Neverland' was "VIOLATED"; this was his OWN words. His spirit will never be at peace, if his family buries him there. It is such a pity. It was a fabulous creation of his, and his safe haven, before it was tainted by greedy people who ruined his life.

I watched the all conference announcing the memorial day of MJ (via CNN). The tickets are completely free. All fans need to register at www.staplescenter.com from now until tomorrow, Saturday at 6:PM. ON Sunday the system wil draw the names of 17500 fans (lucky fans) to receive the ticket. They will go ahead and send you details on where, when, and how to get the tickets (two per fan) and two wristbands. The media has ruined MJ's life and now it wants to ruin his death also. Shame on you all! RIP Michael Jackson the greatest musician of all time period.

The American people unfortunately live in a world where evil presidents can murder any number of people—figuratively—with a wave of a magic wand and get away with it.
