Buckeyes Likely to Get a Big Jump in Polls to Top 5

The Ohio State Buckeyes will likely see themselves in a familiar position in the Jim Tressel era. In the top 5 and in the drivers seat to play in the National Championship game in January. The Buckeyes will likely rise to 4th when the latest polls come out as Oklahoma, Florida, West Virginia, and Texas all lost this week.

The Buckeyes defeated Minnesota 30-7 last night. Those games are followed by Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. The Wisconsin Badgers are nipping at Ohio State's heals and will probably be ranked number 5 when the new polls are released. The good news for Buckeye fans is that when the Badgers and Buckeyes play, they will meet in Columbus.
