Don Imus Returns to Radio on December 3rd

Don Imus is returning to a nationally syndiacated radio show after months in exile when he made racially inappropriate remarks about the Rutgers female basketball team. Imus has signed on to ABC Radio Networks and his show will run from 6AM-10AM on weekday mornings.
"We are ecstatic to bring Don Imus back to morning radio," WABC President and General Manager Steve Borneman wrote on the stations website.
What remains to be seen is if Imus can continue to lure A-list politicians to his show. That is what made his show stand-out from the rest and many will probably now steer clear as he is seen as damaged goods.

FOLKS THANKS HIS SHOW WAS MY FAVORITE. HOPE I CAN CATCH HIS SHOW IN CHICAGO. JEEZE LOUISE I USED TO GET UP AT FIVE AM EVERY MORNING, GRAB A CUP OF COFFEE AND A CIG AND WATCH HIS PROGRAM. STARTED MY DAY OFF WITH NOT ONLY A GREAT LAUGH BUT A LOT OF REALLY INFORMATIVE INFORMATION. I HAD THE BLUES FOR MONTHS WHEN HE WAS TAKEN OFF. IM A PRETTY EASY GOING GUY BUT THAT REALLY UPSET ME. I GUESS I DONT HAVE MUCH OF A LIFE. SO WHAT HES BACK. THANKS AND BEST REGARDS AND REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS RETURN AND HOPEFULLY HIS ONLINE CAST THEY WERE ALL GREAT. BOB HORWITZ

It's about time. IMUS was hired to be a shock jock and then was fired for the same reason. Bernie and Imus made off color remarks for ten years and this time Al Sharpton made a big deal of nothing. The Rutgers Team would not even been aware of the remarks if it hadn'd been made a big deal by the media and Sharpton.
There was nothing else like IMUS in the Morning!
Good music, interesting guests and sharp commentary.
Thank God Imus is back. I just hope he brings Bernard and Charles with him. Bernard kept him on the edge and Charles was there to pull him back.

I really have missed Imus in the morning- I haven't watched MSNBC sine the day they fired Mr. Imus and I haven't watched CBS at all. I believe Don Imus has a good heart and soul- just ask the people he has helped, can't wait to hear him once again and I wish him the best. We all say dum things sometimes oh! I forgot that's only if your human- sorry Al some of us get our shoes wet sometimes.

Glad to see Imus back. I suggest he insult an all white sports team. We would never hear a word about it!
