I was pleasantly surprised to find channel 29 is now BBC instead of U-Pop. I am going to miss 54 Lucy which is now Lithuim which is probably the same programming once I get used to it. 47 Ethel is no longer and is replaced by Sirius' Alternative Nation. Elvis Presley lovers will probably flock to channel 18 which now offers all Elvis all the time. Now if they can just give me Howard Stern and the NFL Network for something cheaper than $4 extra dollars a month.....
The whole list of channel changes can be found following this link.

I've Been listening to cross country for the last 3 years Its the only thing I listen to.Now that you droped it.I'm thinking about dropping you .You guys really disapointed me.assholes!!!!
X Country Ch 12
I couldn't agree with you more...the outlaw channel sucks
Cross Country
Outlaw Country equals XM Cross Country minus about 30 IQ points.
X-Country
Just a short note to let you know I totally agree with you. X-Country was the best thing to happen to music and my reason for choosing XM over Sirius also. Outlaw Country is painful to listen to. I hope someone fixes this before I cancel all 3 of my subscriptions, Keep your fingers crossed ( for X-Country).
Alan
happy xm subscriber
I love the switch. I finally got some of the channels on sirius that I wish xm had, and haven't missed anything that's now gone so far either. Best of both worlds.
Audiovox Channel Problem
I understand the need to consolidate and that there will channel substitutions however my Audiovox receiver I bought from XM only has 10 station I can preset. Tonight I noticed when I drove home from work that one of the channels keeps defaulting to an advertisement channel for sports programs offer by SiriusXM. I can't get it reprogammed to remove this channel and program a music channel in place of this really obnoxious sports advertisement channel.
PLEASE HELP ME. I don't want to hear this guys voice on my radio!
this whole merger is stupid!
this whole merger is stupid! Xm was the best satelite radio,
and now this really ruins alot of peoples driving time. RIP raw66, lucy, ethel, and all the other awesome stations that are not with us anymore.
Lucy xm 54 - Bill Hutton
I am disappointed by the loss of Lucy xm channel 54 & Bill Hutton, program director. As of a few moments ago there's a new website called www.lucyfansunite.com for us. Please feel free to post any Lucy thoughts there!
Fine Tuning
My favorite channel was "Fine Tuning". I am a disappointed long-time subscriber. Quantity does not necessarily equal quality. When the merger was announced we were all assured that we had nothing to worry about and none of our channels would be disrupted. If these changes had been in our best interest as xm subscribers, we would have been informed via email or on-air advertisements.
Fine Tuning
I am also a disappointed long-time subscriber as well as a long-time stockholder. If I don't get my Fine Tuning back I will be cancelling my subscriptions and going full-time to my mp3 player. Which thanks to Fine Tuning I have filled with recordings of the channel and the artists it introduced me to. Some of those artists are no longer available on any of the 'new' channels. (e.g. Behzad, another fine guitarist like Jesse Cook)
Hopefully, the company will listen to those of us who want our channels back. Especially if they plan to stay in business.
agree .. starting building a
agree .. starting building a fine tuning channel on Pandora .. form all the CDs Ive bought listening to fine tuning.
Where is my Fine Tuning!!!!! XM doesn't respect it's listeners!
I too have been a loyal XM listener and fan and was completely happy with my XM prior to the programming change!! I picked XM over Sirrius for a reason!! I really, really enjoyed Fine Tuning. It took the concept of satellite radio's variety and encapsulated it in one station. There were artists on it that are now NOT represented on Sirrius/XM. Peppino D'Agostino, The Celtic Hour, Strawbs, etc.... XM, what have you done!!!! Why did you presume that all your XM listeners would be OK with your making such huge changes there are other stations which you removed that I liked as well. Some were merged , yes, but you added loud mouth DJ's...more commercials. I am very, very disappointed. You told us there wouldn't be changes with the merger!!! Why did you lie to us?! A very disgruntled XM listener
strobe 37 deletion
what happened to the best station u have to offer strobe 37 . merger stinks!!!!
if it aint broke don't fix it you have lots of unhappy customers i'm sure what where you thinking!!!!!
sirius/xm merger
they were better off leaving the companies seperate. sirius was the better of the two .there was no comparison of the channel lineups.might be going to get h-d radio.
were are my xm stations
if i wanted the sirius radio i would have signed up almost 4 years ago. i have 3 radios active if i don't get cross country and the spainish programming back xm/sirius will have 3 less active radios
X Country :(
"X Country"
It's the only reason I had XM. So without it, I won't want XM.
No XM12 Alternative County? No Money for Sirius-XM
With sadness and anger, I canceled my two XM subscriptions this morning.
XM X-Country was the only place on satellite radio for alternative country. If XM-Sirius restores Channel 12 X-Country, I'll be back.

Where is Chrome, and the Rythme?????
Happy to see BPM made the cut, but disappointed Chrome and The Rythm were axed:( Are they coming out with replacements in the future for those two channels??????????
***FOR SALE*** CHEAP OBO
***FOR SALE*** CHEAP OBO THREE DELPHI SATTELITE RADIO RECIEVERS, BOTH HOME AND CAR ADAPTERS. A MUST HAVE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE GOOD MUSIC, WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED. I'M GLAD MY FRIENDS WILL ENJOY INCREASED SALES OF THIER MUSIC!
x country
Taking x country off and replacing it with outlaw country is plain dumb. Outlaw is horrible. I signed the petition and soon I will cancel my subscription. I just added the best of sirius for the NFL and I was happy with my xm radio until now. but now it will have to go.
X-Country
XM Sirius management, what were you thinking? Outlaw Country is old, worn out songs I can hear on FM. It is no replacement for X-Country. X-country played new or recent music that was in a genre all its own, it was fresh, innovative and was worth the subscription price alone. Bring it back or I'm done with satelite radio, I would rather listen to my Ipod than the boring stuff on outlaw. EVERYONE- go to http://www.petitiononline.com/BBXM12/petition.html and sign the petition to get X-Coutry back!
Outlaw Channel SUCKS
There is no channel now representing alt country, red dirt music. Sirius/XM has insulted me by thinking I would stand for the STUPID DJ's and mainstream music it's trying to feed me by taking xcountry off the air. You think we pay all this money to hear the same tired songs we can hear for free all day on regular radio? Don't stand for it people! Sign the petition!
http://www.petitiononline.com/BBXM12/petition.html
I signed the petition to
I signed the petition to request that XM 12 X-Country be brought back. If it is not, like many others, I will cancel my two personal XM subscriptions. In the meantime, I have input my favorite artists and songs from XM into the online jukebox project of the Music Genome, pandora.com, and can at least listen to a reasonable facsimile of X-Country via my computer.
Bring X Country back!
I get some XM (now Sirius) via DirecTV and listened to X Country every day. So much in fact that I had asked for an XM radio for my car and subscription for Christmas. Never mind! Outlaw Country is a very poor substitute and I have asked my wife for something else for xmas.
I can't sign the petition as I am not an "official" subscriber but Sirius just lost out on another sale. Briing back X Country = get my money, pretty simple.
Jeff
X-Country
I will be canceling myself if X-Country is not part of the line up. The outlaw channel is a sad excuse for what x-country was. They will be less two subscription soon if they don't bring it back. I sign the petition.
Unhappy XM Subscriber
I too am one of those that is not at all pleased with the new channel line-up for the merged company. As an XM subscriber, I had an opportunity to try out Sirius for 6 months when I purchased a car. Needless to say, after the trial ended, I did not subscribe to Sirius because it paled in comparison to the options I had with the XM channel line-up. So, I too will not be renewing my subscription when it currently expires unless they bring back my XM channels.
Where do I find the petition to sign????? THANKS!!!
The Rhyme and The Flow 61
My heart is broken. First XM took away the Neo-Soul station, The Flow 61 which highlighted a genre of NeoSoul Artists like Jill Scott, Eryka Badu, Raheim Devaugn, Rafeal Sadiq and even Ross Stone. To name a very few. Very clean and conscious artist who emphasized love of self, others and planet.
Then xm radio took away "The Rhyme Ch. 65 Old School Hip-Hop" the pulse of the existance of Hip Hop, all together!
I wonder if the exects at XM/Sirius really understand how important music is to us in order for us to have to pay for the service on a monthly basis.
So they combined the Ol school with the new school. I enjoyed the flexibility to being able to switch to New School Hip Hop if that's what I wanted to listen to(for which I never did). Isn't that what we pay for?
Please bring the stations back. I love(ed) XM. But now I'm feeling that XM's concerne about Urban music is muted.
What's going on?
Bring back XL the Rhyme!!
I whole-heartedly agree with your statement. XM is thinking about money and not the consumer. I was sorely dissapointed to find that XL the Rhyme was merged with the typical commercial hip hop that is currently played on regular radio stations. If I wanted to hear that, I wouldn't pay a monthly subscription. This is definitely a downgrade.
