Katherine Heigl Dropped from Film for Demanding Too Much Cash
Katherine Heigl is certainly building herself a reputation in Hollywood, and let's just say that it's not a good one. Heigl was apparently ready to sign on to an ensemble romantic comedy directed by Garry Marshall called "Valentine's Day", but was dropped because she demanded $3 million to appear in the film.
$3 million isn't out of the realm of possibility for most film's that Heigl would likely star in, but this one was a special case. You see, it's an "ensemble" which means that the actors would be working at most two weeks and at the least only three days, which means $3 million would be highly overpaid.
A spokesperson for Heigl, however, claims that it was she who walked away, and that she wasn't dropped:
“The story is ludicrous. Early negotiations are a daily occurrence in this business, and just for clarification, Katherine walked away from this project for multiple reasons.”
It's Winehouse vs. Duffy in a Battle for the Next Bond Movie Theme Song

Top movie bosses have tipped both Amy Winehouse and Duffy to record the next Bond movie theme song. Of course only one will prevail, and only one song will be chosen for the 23rd installment of the 007 franchise.
Both Winehouse and Duffy were also amongst the numerous names suggested for 2008's Bond film, "Quantum of Solace". Winehouse almost had it in the bag, but producer Mark Ronson then claimed she "wasn't ready" to head into the studio. Ultimately, Alicia Keys and Jack White were selected to collaborate on the track.
Producer Michael G. Wilson is pulling for Duffy to snag the honors this time, stating "I would love to get Duffy to sing the next tune." Although he says "Amy Winehouse would be good too."
If it's between Wino and Duffy, my money's on Duffy. She's far more reliable and talented.
Leonardo DiCaprio Tipped to Play Ol' Blue Eyes in Upcoming Biopic

Last week we told you that Martin Scorsese had signed on to direct an upcoming biopic based on the life of singing legend Frank Sinatra. It appears that Leonardo DiCaprio has the inside track at playing the Rat Pack legend.
DiCaprio has hired a vocal coach as he will be expected to sing all the parts in the upcoming movie. With the aid of a high priced expert telling him how to hit the notes (coupled with high technology) it shouldn't be a problem for him to bag the role.
Jessica Biel Thinks Her Good Looks Cost Her Acting Roles
In a new issue of Allure magazine, Jessica Biel opens up about her personal life. She talks about her love life with Justin Timberlake, and what she thinks is holding her back from getting the roles that she believes she deserves.
She told the magazine:
"I just want an opportunity. If you don't like the audition, then don't hire me. But if you don't even want to see me – that's hurtful. I'm in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts. Yes, The Illusionist has made a difference -- but a huge, massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No."
Jessica says that the real problem, and what is often the dealbreaker when it comes to casting is her looks.
Lindsay Lohan Gets an Acting Job
Once best known for her acting, Lindsay Lohan has become more famous in recent years for her partying and sexual encounters. So as you can imagine, it's been tough for her to find a job. She's quite a liability on set, and hasn't had the best track record as far as reliability goes. Somehow though, LiLo has managed to find someone that has at least a little faith in her and now actually has a job acting.
Lohan's new movie is called "The Other Side", and will also feature Alanis Morrissette, Giovanni Ribisi, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Matthews. The story focuses on a grad student who has to spend the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote island. She discovers an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a tragedy that took place many years prior.

Ron Paul Fuming Mad Over "Bruno" Film Trickery
Sacha Baron Cohen isn't making many friends with the devious antics and trickery involved in the filming of his latest movie, "Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt." The latest to admit to having been tricked into appearing in the upcoming film by the British comedian is U.S Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), who was one of the 2008 presidential candidates.
Last summer, Paul was left fuming mad when Cohen conned him into a seduction scene with his gay fashion journalist character Bruno. He admits that he was lurred into an interview by claiming to be a financial reproter, and then "Bruno" proceded to disrobe in front of the shocked politician.
Ron Paul, however, only just this week went public with his outrage after seeing himself featured in a trailer for the upcoming film. Speaking with ABC radio, Paul said:
"We were in a studio situation, I wasn't invited into a hotel room. There were lots of lights and blaze and commotion and they said we better get in this back room which had been fixed up as a bedroom.
"So there was some dishonesty getting me into the interview, I was expecting an interview on Austrian economics. That didn't turn out that way.
