Carrie Prejean's Lawsuit is Over After XXX Video Surfaces

The legal battle between former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean and pageant organizers is now officially over. Prejean and organizers issued a statement on Tuesday indicating that they had reached a confidential settlement on their dueling lawsuits.
TMZ reports that Prejean demanded more than $1 million during settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant, until a pageant lawyer presented her with an XXX sex tape that she starred in. The video has never been released. It is also apparently so graphic that even TMZ would show it.
Once she was shown the video, Prejean is said to have immediately withdrew her demands and accept a $100,000 payout. That will cover the cost of her lawyers, and leaves nothing left for her to enjoy.
Prejean sued Miss California USA organizers back in August for religious discrimination, libel and slander. She accused them of telling her to stop mentioning God even before she made her contoversial remarks against gay marriage.
Rumor: Russell Brand to Propose to Katy Perry

Has Katy Perry finally tamed the wild and womanizing Russell Brand? If the rumors are to be believed, she has. Brand is reportedly so in love with Perry that he's ready to propose, after only two month of dating.
Russell's friends are amazed by his new attitude about love, and are convinced he's preparing to ask Katy to marry him. A source close to Russell said:
"We've never seen him like this. He always has a woman on his arm, or in his bed, and hasn't been interested in monogamy.
"But this is different - we all think it won't be long before he marries Katy. I'm waiting for a call to say they are in that Little Chapel in Vegas and have run off to get married."
Russell himself chimed in and said:
, "To be honest I haven't stopped smiling. She's a lovely girl and it's going really, really well. In fact I've never felt more settled in all my life. Katy is fantastic. I'm really happy."
Rumor is, he's even talking about being ready for children.
OK Go are Coming to Cleveland This Friday

OK Go is perhaps best known for their wildly popular videos, and especially their treadmills. The band's YouTube videos have millions of hits between them, and have been parodied on The Simpsons. And yes, they also make music, amongst other things. If ever the word "quirky" applied to a band, OK Go is it, and they'll be bringing their show to Cleveland on Friday at the equally cool concert club, The Grog Shop.
OK Go's frontman, Damian Kulash once said:
We're trying to be a DIY band in a post-major label world" or "Our whole bag is having good ideas and making cool s~~t."
Amongst the cool sh** they've made recently is a play, an essay in the best-selling collection Things I've Learned From Women Who Dumped Me, a record acccompanied only by trombones, and opinion pieces in the Huffington Post and New York Times. They've also testified before Congress and played music in the Senate chambers. They bought a house for soul legend Al Johnson so he could move home to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and have a project whereby the walk the street handing out burritos to the homeless. And yep, they've even interviewed a member of N'Sync in the bathroom.

Concert Review: Intimate Travis Show a Memorable Night of Great Songmanship

The Beachland Ballroom hosted Fran Healy and Andy Dunlop of the Scottish band Travis last night. The tour has the pair playing small shows minus their drummer and bass players while trying to craft a new album while trekking across America.
If you have ever seen a Travis gig, you know that Healy is a talker on stage and this type of show armed with only an acoustic guitar in his hands made it a part storyteller show (they played songs in chronological order of when they were written) and stand up comedy, as Healy has a sense of humor that could have landed him on The Tonight Show if he hadn't been such a gifted songwriter.
And a gifted songwriter he is. Healy explained the origins of songs with non-pretentious banter throughout the show and had the audience intrigued with his wit and genius throughout the night. Dunlop showcased Plastic Ono Style guitar solos throughout the night, and provided some backing vocals and was the "silent one" on stage. Behind the two men, who looked road weary with Healy wearing a Travis tee shirt from their own merchandise rack, was a screen projector in which Fran would display images off his Apple laptop and explain how his songs came to life.

Concert Review — Third Eye Blind

Third Eye Blind performed at the House of Blues in Cleveland Tuesday night. It was also the first CAVS home game so I wasn't really expecting a lot of people to be at the 3eb show. To my surprise I think it was the largest crowd I've ever seen at the House of Blues.
Personally, 3eb will always remind me of high school. They were very popular during my last couple years of HS. The crowd on Tuesday night seemed to be a mixture of fans. Some that were probably big fans in the 90's, like myself and some that seemed younger so possibly fans of the more recent songs.
This was my fourth time seeing 3eb live. One of those times was this past summer at Tower City Amphitheater. The show this past summer and the show on Tuesday night were both to promote the new album titled "Ursa Major" which was released on August 17, 2009. The first single from Ursa Major was "Don't Believe a Word" and was released on June 5, 2009.
Jon Gosselin & Octomom Nadya Suleman to Date in New Reality Series

It will be the multiple baby show to trump all others. Jon Gosselin of the infamous TLC show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" and Nadya Suleman, the California mom who made headlines in January when she gave birth to octuplets, will be dating in a new reality TV series.
Former "Cheaters" producer Bobby Goldstein told In Touch Weekly:
"I heard that Nadya has an insatiable desire to spend time with Jon and to put their families together. And I had the idea that this could be a very entertaining fiasco."
Reps for both Gosselin and Suleman deny that show is in the works, but then again, neither has any history of being completely truthful. Goldstein says that he is producing the pilot, which will be called "Jon - Kate = John + Octomom". A former producer of "The Jerry Spring Show" will also help with the pilot.
According to a press release, cameras will follow Jon "as he contemplates what hooking up with Octomom could really be like. He's totally creeped out by the idea that if they got married, they'd have 22 kids."
But it gets better.
The plotline for Suleman, 33, reveals that she will be so obsessed with Jon and that "she's already talking openly about the two of them getting married."
