This week, NFL owners meeting in Boston approved Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie as a part owner. According to Dolphins CEO Mike Dee, the team, however, has yet to complete an agreement with her.

Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas already have a marketing partnership with the Dolphins. This month Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, wore a pink Dolphins jersey for a campaign for breast cancer awareness.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has already brought on six other celebrities. The team's first partnership was with singer Jimmy Buffett, followed by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Marc Anthony, and Serena and Venus Williams.

Ross said that celebrity partnerships stir up excitement and reflect the vibrancy of South Florida, and that he envisions the Dolphins as a glamour team.

Take that, Kayne West. Taylor Swift leads all artists with 6 Anerican Music Award nominations. Swift, of course, made headlines when she was interrupted by West at last months MTV Music Awards.

Louis Vincent Albano, better known to millions of pro wrestling fans as Captain Lou Albano, passed away today at age 76. Albano wresteled for over four decades and was one of the reasons that professional wrestling is so popular today as his lively personality won over the masses.Later in his career with the WWF he become a manager to many of the greats of the time including The Iron Sheik, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, and Hulk Hogan.

British singer Leona Lewis was attacked by man during a book signing today in London. Lewis, who won stardom by winning the reality television show X Factor, signed her autobiography for her assailant just moments before punching the 24 year old.

A spokesman for the singer told the BBC:

"a guy came up and punched the side of the head".

Miss Lewis didn't need medical treatment but was said to be very shaken by the incident. Police have arrested a man in his mid twenties following the attack.

We gave her the benefit of the doubt the first, and the second time jewels turned up missing after being in the hands of Lindsay Lohan, we began to get suspicious. Now, the actress has apparently lost some pretty expensive jewelry for the third time.

LiLo reportedly borrowed some pricey pieces from jeweler Arielle de Pinto during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, but allegedly then left France without returning the jewelry as promised. Of course rumors have since been flying that she snagged the gems, afterall, lately she's only been known for being broke, losing jewelry, and stealing fur coats.

This is the third time that jewelry has reportedly turned up missing while in her care. On top of that, she claimed to have had $2 million worth of jewelry recently stolen from her home during a break-in.

In response to the rumors, Lindsay Twittered:

That's a lame lie. Especially considering the people at the company are my friends and we laughed about this. F for failed attempt."

Little Suri Cruise, the young daughter of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, is headed to Catholic school. She will be enrolled in a Roman Catholic preschool while he is filming "Wichita" there.

A source close to the family says that Suri will be attending the Yawkey Centre for Early Education and Learning, despite it being run by Catholic Charities.

Katie, who was Catholic before she was brainwashed by Tom and the Thetans, and her parents are said to be thrilled at the school choice.

Despite enrolling their daughter in Catholic preschool, however, the source reveals that Tom and Katie are still 100% devoted to Scientology.

Some people say Twitter.com is a worthless waste of time, and that it is full of self-indulgent narcissists. Drew Carey is proving otherwise, and is pledging to donate $1 to LiveStrong for every Twitter follower he acquires through the end of 2009, up to $1 million total.

A man by the name of Drew Olanoff, a cancer-fighter and blogger, is auctioning off his short and enviable Twitter username - @drew - to benefit the LiveStrong foundation. Olanoff said the he thought someone might bid $10,000 on the last day, but never imagined that Drew Carey would catch wind of it.

But of course he did. An active Twitter user (@DrewFromTV), Carey surpassed Olanoff's $10,000 expectation by tweeting an initial bid of $25,000. But then he decided to quadruple his offer, upping it to $100,000 if his Twitter followers totaled 100,000 by the auction's close at midnight on November 9.

Then during an interview with CBS, Carey upped his offer once again. He is now offering to donate a total of $1 million if he can get 1 million followers by midnight on December 31. If he doesn't reach a million followers, the donation will be prorated: If there are 500,000 followers when the clock strikes midnight, then $500,000 will be given to LiveStrong.

A Connecticut college has warned students interning for the womanizing David Letterman to keep their distance from the funnyman. A representative from Quinnipiac University told the celebrity gossip site TMZ.com:

"due to recent circumstances we will have a discussion with those in charge of placing our interns at the David Letterman show in the future."

The school added, "We will diligently oversee this internship program to ensure that our interns are out of harm's way."

Letterman recently revealed on air that he had been the target of a blackmail plot after he was accused by CBS News producer Joe Halderman of carrying on a sexual relationship with his former girlfriend, Stephanie Birkitt, a former assistant to Dave on the "Late Show".

Letterman admitted to having a relationship with Birkitt, 34. She began on the show as an intern and was promoted to his personal assistant. She also appeared in several on-air bits along with other female staffers.

Beginning in January 2010, a new law will be in effect that will make it more difficult for media outlets to use paparazzi photos that invade celebrities' privacy. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the bill into law this week, and said that he is excited about the change.

On Monady, the former "Terminator" star signed a number of bills, one which includes the amendment to a decade-old law that allows fines against paparazzi who illegally or offensively take photos or recordings. It also permits lawsuits against media outlets that pay for or make first use of material they knew was improperly obtained.

So, stars on the West Coast might be a little safer, but for those hanging out in New York or elsewhere in the U.S., it's still pretty much free reign for stalking and obtrusive photo-snapping.
